On October 13–14, 2021, experts from AURORA’s eleven project partner organizations joined for the second internal consortium meeting to share their research progress and discuss cross-cutting issues and tasks across the work packages. Members from each of the project’s seven work packages presented on their teams’ efforts since the project launched in April 2021. The project partners also gave updates from collaborative work being carried out within the six working groups of the CUSP cluster. The five EU projects within the cluster are investigating the effects of micro- and nanoplastics on human health, and the working groups were launched to share knowledge and resources across the projects. The next full AURORA consortium meeting is being scheduled for Spring 2022.
In addition, each of the work package teams will continue to hold regular meetings to facilitate shared research tasks across multiple project partners. Project updates, research results when publicly released, and research announcements including news articles will be posted regularly on the AURORA website as will relevant events within the field. Updates will also be regularly communicated across AURORA’s social media channels including on Twitter and LinkedIn.
